I started a new pastel painting. This one will take a while. I'm going to show the WIP pictures as I go. Below is the initial sketch on Wallis pastel paper.
Here is the initial block-in of color. So far so good. Of course, it's only the beginning.
This was a picture taken in Georgetown, Colorado on the way home from one of our Jeep trips. This older gentlemen was enjoying the afternoon sun with his book in front of a cafe on the main street. Stay tuned for the additional WIPs and the final product at some point.
