I also completed two cuff bracelets by adding a button hole with my new sewing machine (after some practice) and Caribou antler buttons. I love these buttons. They were made by a local couple who find antlers (they are not hunters) and cut them into buttons. They are expensive, but worth it, I think. I also made another woven wire piece which I attached to a small piece of felt and added a pin to make a very nice original one of a kind brooch. Monday, March 14, 2016
Felt, yarn and beads
Last night I had some beading and wrapping fun on a felt cord that I had made a while ago. It was fun to randomly wrap various yarns around the felt cord and then add various beads wherever I felt like they'd look good. This was a long cord, so I could wrap it several times. It doesn't need a clasp, it can be easily pulled overhead.
