Leaf earrings

I made a couple pair of leaf earrings.  I had some trouble trying to figure out how to attach the silver ear loop to the felt.  I came up with an idea and it worked fine.  I hammered a piece of silver wire flat and glued it with really strong glue (E6000) to the back of the earring and then attached the loop to that.  I've shown the back in the picture.  I've worn them and they were fun and I got a compliment right away.  The earrings are made of felted wool of various colors then free stitched with a dark green thread.  I love the organic look of them.

I'm glad to see the sun just came out and it's warming up a bit.  The day started very overcast.  A neighborhood walk with my husband is definitely in order.  I'll be playing with felt a bit later.  As always, looking forward to that.
