Lace and Felt go well together

I wasn't really sure when I bought this lace in Santa Monica at Fabric Planet on Lincoln (a wonderful fabric store) what I was going to do with it, but I had to have it.  I also had no idea how the lace would accept the felt - what it would look like after I felted it.  Well, what do you think?  I really like it.  I think it's a beautiful look.  I only wish I had bought more of this lace while I was there.  Well, perhaps next visit.  I added the pearl beads and like the look of that too, so here you have it.  I'm going to have to buy more pearl beads too.  Another trip to the bead shop!  I wonder what else today will bring.  I just can't keep myself from posting a picture of the forsythia bush in our back
